Blackpool Project 2009 is being sponsored in part by US Terpsichore Association.
A ballroom in the Imperial Hotel is reserved exclusively for all North American competitors to provide them with a suitable dance floor and location to practice or receive coaching during the week of the Festival. It also provides the opportunity to meet their fellow competitors and experience a sense of camaraderie and national identity in what could otherwise be a lonely experience.
A banquet dinner is also held in their honor in the Imperial Hotel ballroom at the beginning of the week where over 200 appreciative competitors have attended each year.
